An oak and mahogany long case clock by R. Preece of
Hereford. The movement being an eight day two-train with
anchor escapement and rack strike on a bell. The 12"
square dial is a Wilson pattern, with Roman numerals and
Arabic five minute divisions, with subsidiary seconds
dial and date aperture. The case is crossbanded in
mahogany with a shell inlay to the trunk door. C.1810
