A George I open armchair in English walnut. The front
cabriole legs have a hand carved double "C"scroll
on the knees and also on the top of the arm. The rear
legs are also cabriole. The seat and back of the chair
would probably be upholstered in a tapestry material in
keeping with the period of the chair.
This chair was made from a photograph cut out of a
magazine.
